You the adult rider, you can wear whatever you want!
Your child though, needs to be kept not too warm, not too chilly, but JUUUUST right. This fun video explains the time tested approach of layering, and the magic of the miracle "buff".
Remember, your rider up front isn't pedaling and will feel the wind on wee hands and cheeks.

WHEN DRIVING
When driving be sure to bring your seat inside the car. The stirrups and telescoping bar are only attached by push buttons so at high speeds and odd angles (like on a bike rack) can come lose.

WHEN TRAVELING
The Ride More system is great to bring on trips and can easily fit in your luggage. When folded up the Mac Ride dimensions are:
