- Designed for kiddos ages 2 to 5
- Suitable for kiddos up to 60 lb / 27 kg
- Mountain bikes (almost all have a standard 1 1/8" steerer tube. Check your bike here)
- Commuters (some standard, some might need a quill stem adapter (7/8" or 1")
- Cruisers (some standard, some might need a quill stem adapter (7/8" or 1")
- Road bikes (flat bars and larger frame prefered)
- E-bikes and fat bikes (see below)
- Adaptable to e-bikes (shop our e-bike adapter)
- Adaptable to fat bikes and mountain bikes with wide top tubes (shop our e-bike adapter)

- For thicker seat posts -up to 34.9mm- you can remove the domed nut from the end of the rear clamp hand screw and ride on!

BUT I am really glad I bought it. It is actually life changing. It does not bother me at all to have it on my bike when I am riding alone. And if the need arises - my kid just hopes on and of we gooooo.

I have been eye-balling these for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. I was hesitant at first since I have a Surly Straggler which is basically a classic straight triangle road frame but the Mac-Ride fits like a dream! My son was scared when he saw the seat but as soon as he sat down, he got excited and now when he sees the bike he begs me to get on. I can't express how much this product means to me in terms of being able to share my passion with my two-year old. It is so much fun we get to ride together and have a chat at the same time, it's beautiful. Getting on and off his seat is so easy and installation was a breeze, I am savvy with bikes but even if you're not, it is super straight forward, brilliant design!!! My wife is super excited to try it out on her bike now. The thought of providing a second spacer in the purchase of the seat is next level family-forward thinking, thank you!
I installed the Macride on my Trek Rail 5 and it works great! The first rides with the kids were pure joy as we were able to experience together the tracks. I recommend the seat to all families who enjoys MTB
